Museums


California Museum

Home of the California Hall of Fame, it is the state’s official history museum.

California State Railroad Museum

Home to exhibits and restored railroad cars and locomotives which illustrate railroad history in California and the West.

Crocker Art Museum

The Crocker Art Museum, the oldest art museum in the Western United States, features the world’s foremost display of California art and is renowned for its holdings of European master drawings and international ceramics.

Old Sacramento State Historic Park

The historic district contains a group of early Gold Rush structures including the 1849 Eagle Theater; the 1853 B. F. Hastings Building, once home to the California Supreme Court; and the 1855 Big Four Building.

Sporting Events


Sacramento River Cats

The River Cats, the Triple A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants,  host a season opening homestand against the El Paso Chihuahuas with games on April 4-9, 2023. Sutter Health Park is located just across the Tower Bridge in West Sacramento.
