The Local Arrangements Committee of the Society of California Archivists (SCA) is excited to announce the 2027 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at the Monterey Marriott in Monterey, CA from April 7-9, 2027.
You can reserve your hotel room today!
Standard room rate is $259.00 a night plus tax.
Hotel room rates are subject to applicable State and Local Fees and Taxes (currently 12% Occupancy Tax, $0.75 CA Fee/Night, 4.15% CCFD Fee and $4.50 Monterey Fee/night) in effect at the time of check-out.
Hotel parking is a reduced rate of $39.00.
There are a limited number of state employee per diem rates available. Please contact the Local Arrangements Committee for more information.
FAQ
I am getting charged for a daily destination fee and parking. Will this be fixed?
If you are a Marriott Bonvoy account holder, you may see an additional daily destination fee and non-discounted parking. The Local Arrangement Committee is aware of this and is working with the hotel to resolve this issue. Your reservation should not include a daily destination fee, and the parking fee is $29.40.
Can I request a specific room for my stay?
When booking your reservation, there is not an option to book a room with double beds. You can add it to the request field when making your reservation. However, it is not guaranteed that a room with double beds will be available. Availability is first-come, first-served when you arrive at the hotel.
