First Fridays: The New ADA Title II Regulations

Join the Education Committee for a casual, community-based conversation about the new ADA Title II Regulations and the benefits, challenges, and experiences of implementing these new regulations at a variety of different archives and institutions. This will be a gently guided discussion, with open sharing of experiences, ideas, challenges, and thoughts on the process and regulations overall. Come share how your workplace is implementing these new regulations, and hear how others are doing the same. The hope is that by discussing this in an honest and open way you will leave with some new insight, perspective, or solidarity related to the new regulations.
Why Attend?
Archival work can often be solitary or siloed, so this is an opportunity to come together with other SCA members to share experiences with the new ADA Title II Regulations and the challenges of implementing them, as well as sharing thoughts and ideas on the process of integrating them to encourage and support each other in the work involved to meet these new regulations.
