While we're unable to gather in person, SCA will be hosting "First Friday" lunchtime meetings on the first Friday of each month at 12pm. Our next meeting is on Friday, January 8th, from 12 to 1 pm (please note that it's actually the second Friday this month to account for the New Year holiday!)
First Friday meetings are open to all, regardless of membership status.
In 2021, SCA will celebrate its 50th anniversary. SCA has become one of the most active, successful, and prominent of the state and regional organizations in the nation. The Society has earned distinction by founding the prestigious Western Archives Institute, by joining with other western regionals to launch the Western Archivists Meeting (originally, the Western Roundup), and by presenting scores of quality conferences, seminars and workshops.
Sue Hodson, a member of SCA's Golden Anniversary Committee, will talk informally about the celebrations and commemorations being planned for the 2021 Annual General Meeting.
