Western Archives Institute (WAI) Scholarship 

Scholarship Information

1. The Western Archives Institute (WAI) Scholarship exists to assist one participant with tuition fees. 

2. The scholarship will cover the full cost of tuition up to $950.00. 

3. The WAI Management Committee will select the scholarship recipient. 

4. The Scholarship will be available to any WAI attendee, regardless of where they reside.

Awardee Selection

1. Preference is given to those who have little or no institutional support and would be unlikely to be able to attend the program without tuition assistance. 

2. Where a personal or professional relationship exists between a scholarship applicant and a WAI Management Committee member, the committee member will be recused from that year's scholarship decision-making process.
