ScholarshipsMink Scholarship for the Annual General MeetingThe purpose of this scholarship of $500 is to promote the professional development of students preparing to become archivists by providing support for attendance at the annual general meeting and a pre conference workshop.The scholarship will be awarded to a student already committed to a career in archival administration. In addition, one of the following two criteria must apply:
Each applicant must submit an application form, including a letter of recommendation from someone familiar with the applicant's goals in the archival profession. Mink Scholarship Application Form Scholarship For the Western Archives InstituteThe Western Archives Institute Scholarship Fund assists with tuition. A limited number of scholarships are available. Applicants who meet the qualifications for admission to the Western Archives Institute are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Preference is given to those who are actively engaged in archival work, but who have not had the opportunity for formal archival training.Applicants who wish to be considered for the Western Archives Institute Scholarship should mark the appropriate box on the Western Archives Institute application form. Only those applicants who mark the appropriate box will be considered for the scholarship. Additional information about the Western Archives Institute Scholarships may be obtained from: Administrator The Education Endowment FundThe Education Endowment fund was created in 1989 to advance the educational activities of the Society. The fund provides support and seed money for seminars, workshops, special lectures and programs that meet the continuing education needs of the Society's membership.
