The Society of California Archivists is currently organizing our silent auction, a regular event at each conference that raises funds to support the Society's Scholarship and Education programs. You can help make this year's auction a tremendous success by donating items to put up for bid. Items can come from your organization or from yourself as an individual. The following are examples of items that would make excellent donations:
- Books (including rare books, fine printing and artists' books)
- Photographs (vintage and fine art)
- Historical ephemera and collectibles
- Original artwork
- Food (non-perishable)
- Wine
- Limited edition prints, maps, or vintage posters
- Items related to California history
- Unique items
If you would like to donate an item for the auction, please contact us about your idea before sending the item in. Auction lots can vary in size and price, and we will be accepting payment in cash or check only. Also, remember that you can still donate items even if you're unable to attend the conference.
Donations should be mailed by
