Western Round-Up 2010 Joint CIMA/NWA/SCA/SRMA Meeting

Workshop and Session Proposal Information Sheet

The 2010 Joint Meeting Program Committee invites submissions for program proposals for the upcoming meeting/conference of the Conference of Inter-Mountain Archivists (CIMA), the Northwest Archivists (NWA), the Society of California Archivists (SCA), and the Society of Rocky Mountain Archivists (SRMA). The meeting will include a three-day conference and a day of pre-conference workshops.

Meeting dates: April 28-May 1st, 2010
Meeting location: Renaissance Seattle Hotel, Seattle, WA

Please note that presenters must register and secure their own funding and may only participate in one session.

Traditional: open session, two to three prepared papers (approx. 15 mintues each) with Q&A period(s)
Panel Discussion: open session, three to four individuals informally discussing a variety of theories or perspectives on the given topic(s)
Workshop: limited enrollment, allows interaction with participants and usually teaches or refines archival skills

PLEASE NOTE: Preference will be considered, but there are NO guarantees. Please be flexible (so that we don't have to put all the digital sessions up against each other!).
Audiovisual:
PLEASE NOTE: Site fees for audio-visual equipment rental and Internet access are very high. Requests for use of AV equipment will be granted only with sufficient justification, or if you are able to provide your own.
Live Internet access for sessions will not be available, but will be considered for workshops.
