CARPOOL TO VENTURA

If you're traveling by car the the AGM, we encourage you to "go green" and carpool to the conference!  The LAC has created an electronic bulletin board to help you find fellow archivists in your neighborhood who are looking to share a ride.  We have established this password-protected environment to add some peace of mind to the experience, but you should still exercise caution when arranging a ride with someone you've never met.  To sign up or view the signup sheet go to AGM Ride Share 2012 and enter the password: ride2agm.

LAX to Ventura (& reverse): From Aviation Station at LAX take Metro Rail Green Line to Los Angeles Union Station. From Union Station take Amtrak to Ventura ($23.00 per person, one way) or take Metro Rail Ventura County Line to East Ventura Station ($12.75 per person, one way).

Burbank Airport to Ventura (& reverse): From the airport take Amtrak to Ventura ($21.00 per person, one way) or Metro Rail Ventura County Line to East Ventura Station, ($11.50 per person, one way).
